What We Do - Fundraising

HOW THE MONEY IS RAISED

Money raised through fundraising falls mainly in four sections:

Projects/Events 
Regular Donations
Donations by groups
Individual Contributions

Examples of PROJECTS EVENTS          are
Glenullin Walk and Barbeque               
This now  yearly event for the past six  held at Charlie and Margaret Mullan's Farm, Drumbane Road by ‘Get Up and Go’ Walking Club over the past four years has raised over £10,000  
Now in its third year ZAAP Alternative Presents has raised over £23,000.
Sale of Psalm Books over £14,000  
Celebrity Chef Event     nearly £2,000  
   
   
           

 

Regular Donations from Coleraine Borough Council Staff, Councillors and Causeway Health & Social Services Trust Staff raises annually over £5,000.00

Donations by groups
Schools, churches, organisations, companies, community groups, NILGA  raised a total of £11,667.00 in 2006-07
These donations were made in response to learning more about Zomba and the community there and indicate the wide response from the local Coleraine Borough Council Community .

 

Individual Contributions  are donated by individuals and membership subscriptions and are greatly appreciated and necessary for the ongoing projects that are identified by ZAP in Zomba.
